These heavy-duty synchronous belts are specifically designed for high power applications at high speed.
The specifically prepared tensile element in fiberglass provides an excellent dimensional stability preventing belt shrinkage or stretch under load.
The belt length is constant during operation allowing a perfect synchronization with the pulley. The result is a longer belt life and a lower energy consumption. The chloroprene compound provides good protection from oil, moisture and wear while the low friction polyamide fabric gives a long lasting teeth protection.
Here are the product dimension :
- Pitch length : the numbers writen in every product name after "CMS" is pitch length. For example, CMS1440-8M30, so the pitch length is 1440 mm.
- Width : refer to the last number in every product names, for example, CMS1440-8M30, so the inside length is 30 mm.
Locking elements consist of one internal and one external tapered rings. They are designed to work in combination with a clamp flange which can be bolted on a hub or shaft depending on application need.

Inner Diameter : refer to numbers writen after "F" in every product name. For example, CAL2F10/13; so, the inner diameter is 10 mm.
Outside Diameter : refer to the last number in every product name. For example, CAL2F10/13; so, the outside diameter is 13 mm.
SIT-LOCK® 8 has a very small axial dimension, is self centering and has been designed to suit various shaft diameters although the overall dimensions are the same. SIT-LOCK® 8 is recommended for applications with medium torques which need a good axial positioning. The limited number of screws make the installation fast.

TRASCO® couplings are dimensionally manufactured to hub types "A" and "B", the difference being the maximum shaft diameter which hubs can accpet (corresponding respectively to the first and second code number). The long hub execution "L" (allows full coverage of the motor shaft) is available in both "A" and "B" execution.
