Keyways are British Standard Metric B S 4235. Part 1: 1972 DIN 6885 and conform to ISO recomendations with the exception of those marked, which are shallower. Where a key is to be used it should be parallel and side fitting, with top clearance. Depth of keyway is measured at the CENTRE
SITEX® gear couplings consist of two toothed hubs which are connected with one internally toothed sleeve. The hubs are made of steel and the teeth, which are both profiled and section crowned, are obtained from milling. The sleeve is manufactured from stabilized 6.6 superpolymade resin.
Coupling are available from stock, both the standard and the "long" hub execution, which entirely covers the motor shaft.
Here are the dimensions of couplings with"long" hub execution :
HRC couplings offer a range of hub and element selection to meet the demand for a low cost, general purpose spacer type flexible coupling. They allow for incidental misalignment, absorb shock loads and dampen out small amplitude vibrations. They are offered in both pilot bore, finished bore, Finished bore, and Taper bushed with both face and hub mount.
